Cedar River Festival Group

“The mission of the Cedar River Festival Group is to preserve, celebrate and educate the Cedar Valley about the natural beauty of the Cedar River as a community resource.”

Originally known as Cedar River Festival, Inc.; founded by local volunteers including musician Raldo Schneider, and more recently known as the Cedar River Environmental Group, or CREG, the Cedar River Festival Group incorporated December 9, 2008 in its current form. The organization is operated by an all-volunteer board of directors. The new incorporation resulted from restructuring of the organization and pursuit of federal and state status as a 501c(3) nonprofit organization.
